Community seed and seedling swap
Saturday 4th April 10am-Midday, Church Rooms
Following last year's success, our 2009 Seedy Saturday was extremely popular and well attended. Duchy of Cornwall Nursery kindly donated a selection of plants, and many people brought their own spare seedlings and seeds to swap.
There was a lot of encouragement and suggestions for future swaps:
- Holding it at St Bart's Church yard in good weather to attract more passers by
- Scrap Swap: reuse pots/canes/greenhouse glass etc
- Changing monthly swaps: seeds in February, seedlings in March, plants in April, cuttings and produce in the summer, seeds and dried plants in September
