The professional tool sharpener, Keith from GiltSharp, was busy the whole time - despite torrential downpours and very windy weather.

Get your tool shed and garden in order before winter! Give your old and blunt tools a new lease of life and save a repair job or the cost of a replacement in the spring. Putting garden tools away properly for the winter can add years to the life of your equipment.

Tool Tidy
A professional tool sharpening service will be available, parked outside the Scout Hut in the car park. Nearly all tools can be sharpened (including lawn mower blades) and will be charged per item. Example costs are £3 for a hoe, £6 for shears.

In the Scout Hut we'll have equipment for keeping your tools in good condition, plus information about how to store and look after them.

Garden Clear Out
We've got a stack of surplus plant pots of all sorts of sizes, plus canes, end of year plants and seeds for next year. Bring any unwanted garden equipment for swapping.
